The center is headed by Dr. Satish B.Sonar. He is an exclusive Joint Replacement & Sports Surgeon. 

Apart from arthroscopic surgery, he is actively involved in Joint replacement and Reconstructive surgery.

Satish B.Sonar MS (Orth) MNAMS (Orth) Graduated from Government Medical College, Nagpur and obtained his Master's degrees in Orthopaedics from Grant Medical College, Mumbai.

After M.S.,he worked with Dr.Sanjay Desai, Dr.Suresh Vengasarkar and Dr.D.D.Tanna in Bhatia Hospital Mumbai.

He served as assistant professor of Orthopaedics in Dr.D.Y.Patil medical college,Pune.

In 2006, he was awarded World orthopaedic concern and International society of orthopaedic and sports traumatology Fellowship (WOC-SICOT) by Indian Orthopaedic association.

In January 2007, he completed International society for arthroscopy, knee surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine (ISAKOS) Fellowship with Dr. David V.Rajan, one of the leading and pioneer exclussive Sports medicine and Arthroscopy surgeon in India.

He then completed Advanced training in Sports medicine and Arthroscopy in Italian university of Sports medicine(IUSM, Italy) and Villa Stuart clinic with Dr.Pier Paolo Mariani in Rome.

In 2007 he was awarded scholarship by European Society of Sports medicine, Arthroscopy & Knee surgeries (ESSKA) for training in Austria.

In 2008, he did Fellowship in Joint Replacement & advanced Arthroscopic Reconstructive surgeries with Prof. John Bartlett in Melbourne, Australia.

 Ever since 2002 he has travelled extensively and attended several workshops and conferences in India, Singapore, S.Korea.

He is the member of Indian arthroscopy society , Indian orthopaedic association, Bombay orthopaedic society, Maharashtra orthopaedic association and Cartillage repair society.

Dr. Sonar is currently working as Joint Replacement & Sports Surgeon at,

GBH American Hospital, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
